Meet Your Florist

Kim is an artist by heart, always adventuring and pursuing the next big creative project. Born and raised on Kauaʻi, but with worldwide travels under her belt, her aesthetic is one that combines tropical and temperate flowers with grace and flair.

Growing up, her passion for lei-making evolved and expanded into weddings, commercial photoshoots, floral freelancing, and community collaborations. With an extensive background in graphic design and hospitality, she strives to meet the needs of each client using beautiful and befitting elements from nature.

At Blooms by Kim, we use the voice of flowers to bring your vision to life. ✿

FAQs

  • In general, we need at least 3-6 months notice for wedding and event florals and 3-4 weeks notice on smaller projects (e.g. lei orders). Please fill out an inquiry on the contact page and we will let you know if we can accommodate you.

  • Yes, delivery is available islandwide on Kauaʻi for a fee.

We do not offer shipping at this time.

  • Every project is unique, just like our amazing clients. We use photo inspiration to determine an overall theme/look/color palette, and will do our best to keep a similar feel that also aligns with your needs and budget.

Seasonality, market conditions, and product availability may cause substitutions of flowers and foliage to occur.

  • We’re definitely open to it! We are based on Kauaʻi but are available to travel anywhere for destination weddings, special events, restaurant or retail installations/exhibits, and floral freelancing.

  • Feel free to share aloha by gifting your flowers to someone else, for example a friend, family member, or local care home. You can also place them somewhere special in your home, or compost the biodegradable elements in your yard!

  • Some pieces will dry naturally on their own, such as those made with ti leaves, palm leaves, or seed pods. With everlasting lei poʻos and wreaths, be sure to store them in a spot out of direct sunlight and humidity.

We do not currently offer floral preservation in resin, but here are our recommendations:

    FloFlo Flowery - Kauaʻi

    Modern Bouquet Preservation - Oʻahu
